You’re here because you want to work through stress, anxiety, and trauma.

You feel stuck and out of options. You know life shouldn’t feel this hard, but you don’t know what to do about it.

You can’t figure out why you’re triggered by the smallest things. You find yourself doing and saying things you are ashamed of, but don’t know why you do them or how to stop.

Either your emotions feel too overwhelming to handle or you feel completely numbed out.

You’re at a breaking point and need a place to become grounded, where things can begin to make sense, and where you can heal and learn to live again.

You want an expert who treats you as a person, not a problem. You need a plan, but also the flexibility to go at your own pace and the option to switch things up as needed.

You want to feel safe in your own skin and with others.

Welcome.

You will find I’m steadfast, friendly, and help you feel comfortable and at ease. I use a variety of trauma and attachment-informed approaches to help you work through pain, increase personal well-being, and gain deeper personal insight.

In our first sessions, we’ll explore your story and your needs. I place a heavy emphasis on engaging the body, emotions, and mind as we learn new ways of regulating and feeling grounded. During treatment, our goal is not just helping you learn how to cope, but to actually heal your wounds.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO# 11838) and Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCPA# 10004795). I am also an EMDR Certified Therapist. When not in the therapy chair, I find fresh energy exploring nature, feasting with family and friends, and working with my hands. I also enjoy reading good books, deep discussions, and learning new skills.

I provide virtual and in-person counselling services to individuals 16 years and older.

My relational approach to therapy is rooted in compassion and empathetic curiosity. I long to create a space where my clients sense they have an authentic, non judgmental friend joining them on their journey.

I believe that you are the expert on your life and that as we listen to your story together a relationship will grow where healing, growth and understanding can take place. I am convinced that each client has strengths, skills and resources and that as we ask the right questions we may gain new perspectives or uncover solutions you hadn’t noticed before.

From a client-centered holistic perspective I invite clients to explore their faith and spirituality and its impact upon their life, if they chose to do so.

As a young mother myself, I am also familiar with both the joys and challenges of becoming a parent. Each woman’s journey through pregnancy, post partum and beyond is complex and unique and can present unexpected stresses that can lead to anxiety, depression, poor health, relationship strain, or feeling generally overwhelmed. Sometimes in the journey towards growing a family you may have experienced profound loss and grief through infertility, miscarriage or stillbirth. In our therapeutic relationship I invite you to enter into these spaces with me as a gentle friend. Together we can honour and hold space for your story and slowly look towards healing, hope, and resilience.

I am a counselling intern. I provide affordable therapy online and in person in Mississauga to individuals 16 years old and older.

EVERYONE IS FOCUSED ON YOUR CHILD

Who is supporting you?

Parenting a child with vision loss, disabilities, or complex support needs can be deeply meaningful. It can also be exhausting, isolating, and overwhelming.

You may find yourself carrying:

• Constant worry about your child’s future

• The stress of appointments, advocacy, and school meetings

• Guilt that you’re not doing enough

• The pressure to stay strong for everyone else

• Strain on your relationships and family life

• Grief, loneliness, or burnout that few people truly understand

You don’t have to carry it alone.

As a parent who has raised four children with disabilities and complex support needs, MC understands both the challenges and the deep love that caregiving requires.

She knows what it is like to navigate systems, advocate for a child, manage uncertainty, and continue showing up day after day for the people you love.

Alongside her professional training, MC brings years of lived experience supporting children with diverse developmental, learning, sensory, and physical needs.

A warm, supportive space to:

✓ Process difficult emotions

✓ Navigate parenting challenges

✓ Reduce stress and burnout

✓ Strengthen resilience

✓ Explore family and relationship concerns

✓ Receive support through life’s transitions

You spend so much time caring for others. Counselling is a place where you don’t have to hold everything together.
